The gondola leaves from the Grand Canal to explore hidden splendors that this itinerary has to offer.
Proceeding towards the San Polo rio, you can admire the different architectural styles of the Venetian palazzi and residential homes.
A short stop to pick up some traditional Venetian cicchetti (which also include local canapés) and a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy during the journey.
The inner canals are quite peaceful in this residential area and you will see rarities only seen by gondola.
We will ultimately return on the Grand Canal admiring some Venetian palazzi in their Gothic and Renaissance styles such as Palazzo Barbaro and Palazzo Corner Spinelli. Before the tour concludes you will have a quick glimpse of the famous Rialto Bridge from the Grand Canal.
The tour ends at the starting point, San Tomà gondola station.
